Day 12

Have you missed me?

The past couple of days have been sad and I am not feeling quite like the happy blogger I should be when reporting on my pumpkin status, so please bear with me. Today’s entry will be more update than commentary.

Day 8: Pumpkin Beer with great friends!
Day 9: Pumpkin Tarts with a cream cheese frosting. It was premade, so no recipe.
Day 10: Another pumpkin tart that I topped off with a pumpkin beer

Day 11
I got back on the cooking train yesterday. I needed comfort food last night so I made a shepherd’s pie with ground turkey instead of lamb and a Pumpkin Bread Pudding for dessert. Kristina does not get down with raisins in her bread pudding so I skipped that step. Don’t worry, just because we did not have the raisins does not mean I eliminated the bourbon… I did not want to mess with the recipe too much. If you like bread pudding, you will love this recipe.

Day 12
I think pumpkin ravioli is on the docket for tonight – I will keep you posted. (Ha! That was a blog joke.)

By the by, I received an email from Amazon this morning and my case of pumpkin has shipped!
